1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 g6 3. Nc3 d5 4. f3 dxc4 (last book move) 5. e4 Nc6 6. Bxc4 (and I blunder a pawn right out of the opening - better was 6. Be3) Qxd4 7. Qxd4 Nxd4 8. Bb5+ Bd7 9. Bxd7+ Kxd7 10. Rb1 e5 11. Kf2 Nc2 12. Be3 Nxe3 13. Kxe3 Rd8 14. Nh3 (I had trouble deciding whether or not to put my Knight on h3 or e2) Bc5+ 15. Ke2 Ke7 16. Rbd1 Bd4 17. Rd3 g5 18. Rhd1 Rhg8 19. g4 (Fritz shows 19. Nb5 g4 20. Nf2 far better) c6 20. R1d2 h5 21. gxh5 Nxh5 22. Nd1 Nf4+ 23. Nxf4 gxf4 24. Nf2 Rg2 25. Kf1 Rxh2 26. Ng4 Rhh8 27. b3 (now my d3 Rook is trapped - Fritz prefers 27. Kg2 Ke6 28. Rb3) Ke6 28. a4 (28. Rh2 to relieve pressure by trading Rooks is stronger) f5 29. exf5+ Kxf5 30. Nf2 Rdg8 31. Ng4 c5 32. Nf2 Rh2 (32 ...Rg3 picks off the Knight - 33. Ke2 Bxf2 (if 34. Kxf2?, mate in 4!) 33. Re2?? (33. Rc2 and White lives a little longer) Rh1+ 34. Nxh1 Rg1# {cterlizzi checkmated} 0-1
I didn't win or even draw a single game in this 5 game online match! Game 3 was my best play as for a while I had a stronger position according to Fritz 15.
